Thanksgiving has finally arrived and our staff is wrapping up the short week and prepping themselves for over eating and some quality family time. While most of us are swamped with work and responsibilities this time of year, it is important to take time to really appreciate all of the great things in your life and the world in general. It’s very easy to get consumed with our hectic schedules, but you can never forget to take some time to look deeper at your life and realize that everything is going to be all right.
Gratitude magnifies our experience of the good things in life, enabling us to enjoy them more thoroughly. Gratitude also helps us to endure the hard things in life with dignity, perhaps even with humor. Gratitude is like savoring a fine meal, enjoy every bite, rather than racing through a meal as if it’s some sort of race. We all have a lot to be thankful for, so try to remember and reflect on this as your enjoy your holiday.
